1. Membership Agreement

By accessing and using the Achievers Multipurpose Cooperative Society Management System, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Membership in the cooperative is subject to approval by the board of directors. All members must meet the eligibility criteria as outlined in our bylaws and complete the required registration process.

2. Member Responsibilities

As a member of our cooperative, you are required to:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date personal information in the system
  • Make timely contributions and loan repayments as agreed upon
  • Attend general meetings and participate in cooperative activities
  • Protect your login credentials and not share account access with others
  • Report any suspicious activities or security concerns immediately to management
  • Comply with all cooperative policies, bylaws, and regulations
  • Act in the best interest of the cooperative and fellow members

3. Financial Obligations

All members must adhere to the financial policies established by the cooperative, including share capital requirements, monthly savings contributions, and loan repayment schedules. Failure to meet financial obligations may result in penalties, suspension of benefits, or termination of membership. The cooperative reserves the right to deduct outstanding amounts from member savings or dividends.

4. Loan Policies

Loans are granted based on member eligibility, savings balance, creditworthiness, and available funds. Interest rates and repayment terms are determined by the board of directors and may be adjusted periodically based on economic conditions and cooperative performance. Members must provide required documentation and guarantors as specified for each loan type. Defaulting on loan repayments may result in legal action and reporting to credit bureaus.

5. Savings and Dividends

Member savings earn dividends based on the cooperative's annual performance and as approved by the general assembly. Dividends are not guaranteed and are subject to the financial health of the cooperative. Minimum savings balances may be required to maintain active membership status.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Member data is collected, processed, and stored solely for cooperative operations and will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law or regulatory authorities. We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

7. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Any activities conducted through your account will be considered as authorized by you. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach. The cooperative is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.

8. Withdrawal and Termination

Members may withdraw from the cooperative by providing written notice at least 30 days in advance. All outstanding obligations, including loans and fees, must be settled before final withdrawal is processed. Upon withdrawal, members are entitled to their share capital and savings, subject to deduction of any outstanding debts. The cooperative reserves the right to terminate membership for breach of terms, illegal activities, or conduct detrimental to the cooperative.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from membership or use of cooperative services shall first be addressed through internal mediation processes. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to arbitration as provided in our bylaws. Members agree to exhaust all internal resolution mechanisms before pursuing external legal remedies.

10. System Usage and Conduct

Members agree not to use the management system for any unlawful purposes or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the system. Prohibited activities include attempting to gain unauthorized access, transmitting malicious code, or interfering with other members' use of the system.

Members will be notified of significant changes through email, system notifications, or announcements at general meetings. Continued use of the system after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
